We drive from Eastpointe/Warren border for this Chinese food. Used to order from Golden Palace at Joseph Campau and Caniff in Hamtramck. When they closed I looked for years for comparable Chinese. Then saw SunSun and have been hooked since. Tried several closer to home but nothing comes close. Hate they open so late on Sunday but it is worth the wait.
This establishment is the real deal. A great group of people delivering a great meal and a reasonable cost. The oil in some restaurants can get over used, not here. Tastes like fresh daily! The portions are large as well. You can easily feed two off of one order. Egg drop soup delightfully different than many other places. Family from LA like it better than other mid west choices. It doesn't look like much, in fact it took me a while to stop in, but it is well worth it.
Got the General Tsos combination meal and it was fantasticly delicious. Huge portion and the ham fried rice was quite tasty as well. Hole in the wall with amazing food for a great price.
